Nanit had the ambition to challenge the category with a bold new identity refresh, but at a design level, the brand was disappearing in a sea-of-sameness and lacked the quality and distinctiveness of its product.

We saw an opportunity to bring a bolder and more modern aesthetic to the category but the biggest pivot was a renewed visual focus on the parents and larger family team rather than strictly focusing on babies, who were heavily spotlighted on all other competitor sites, which was noted during our competitive analysis.
Documentary, day-in-the-life-style photography from real families provides authenticity which we layered with ownable data stories. Powerful statistics proving the power of Nanit’s computer vision technology layered over the emotional energy from the family photos provides a unique and ownable visual style, and reinforces the brand purpose: that Nanit is creating the most tech-forward, empowering and engaging platform to help families live their best lives.
